Wacol

Wacol is about 21km south-west of the Brisbane CBD and is best known for housing the Moreton A & B Correctional Centre and the Sir David Longland Correctional Centre. The suburb is also made up of semi-industrial areas, as well as some residential areas. There are not too many private dwellings but what are available mainly consist of acreage (large house sites) or a few new brick-and-tile developments. Most community, educational and retail facilities are located in neighbouring suburbs such as Middle Park and Mount Ommaney. Source: REIQ
