Zillmere is located approximately 13km north of the Brisbane CBD, and is home to a mix of young families and retirees It offers residents comparatively affordable housing with easy access to modern facilities and leisure activities. For this reason it is not uncommon for residents to look to upgrade their homes within the immediate area. Zillmere is broken down into about 40 per cent light to medium industrial and 60 per cent residential houses with a few townhouse developments mixed in.
